Pears + Beer + Caramel = October

Have pears?

Peel.

Put in pot. Add two bottles of ale and one-fourth cup of white or brown sugar.

Simmer for 15 minutes. Turn heat off and let them sit for a bit.

Make caramel sauce.

Put caramel sauce on plate. Add pear. Add more caramel sauce. Be all kinds of October happy.
