When it comes to toy shopping, I am a big fan of toys that are durable, simple, and a little educational. Yes, I’m a mom nerd. Throw me a bin of old fashioned wooden blocks and I’m a happy girl.
Puzzles are great gifts because babies and toddlers can play with the pieces and, as they get older, they can grow into putting the puzzle together on their own. The drawback is that puzzles tend to get lost in stacks and once you lose a piece the whole toy is a little less loved.
