Salt Lake Comic Con is a fun, crazy, exciting, colorful, and slightly unpredictable event with lots of kid-friendly elements. Although long lines and crazy crowds have been problems in the past, the convention is professionally run and most of the wrinkles have been smoothed out. There are tons of kids at the event every year so although some of the costumes worn by attendees might be a little scary and/or on the adult side, I wouldn’t put an age limit on this one.
Little tips: food is expensive so packing snacks is a good idea although there are lots of food options on site to choose from. Skip the sessions because the wait times and crowds won’t be worth it until your kids are teens. Definitely dress up – that’s half the fun! Finally, if your kids have a tendency to take off it will be worth it to pull out the stroller or kid leash if you you use one. This place gets packed and there are tons of distractions calling to littles!
