My Favorite Gear for Learning at Home

Amazon started a new program for influencers that lets us have a storefront on the Amazon page. That means that I get to round up my favorite gear and put it all in one place to recommend it to people. I played around with it last night and poured a ton of stuff into it, only to pull most of it back out because I didn’t want my absolute favorite items to get buried. You can see what made the cut here in my Amazon shop.

We’ve bought a ton of stuff for our homeschool over the last four years and I have to admit not all of it has been a win. I’m really disappointed in those BOB books, even though everyone recommends them, because they’re so boring and the kids aren’t motivated to read them. I also never use our laminator anymore, even though I guess it’s nice that it’s somewhere here in the house, and I think the kids played with the math dice for all of four seconds before I realized we could only create problems with the numbers 1-6.

That being said, most of our gear has been great and some has been worth the money ten times over. I even bought an extra ten block set and another magnetic phonics set because we love them so much. I’ll also say that a lot of our stuff would have been great even if we hadn’t officially carved out time for homeschooling, since these toys support whatever education path your family has picked. So, if I was going to pick ten items that are great for learning at home (whether “homeschooling” or not!), this would be that list:
