Our Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Night

Being huge Guardians of the Galaxy fans, we've been waiting and waiting for the chance to own this movie. Once the movie came out on December 9th, we had a big movie night with my family and I had the chance to brainstorm a fun way to create a heroes party that everyone would enjoy. I had all these fancypants recipes brewing and was going to go in an Oscars party direction, when I realized that the best part of Guardians of the Galaxy is how casual and fun it is. Our Snowy Snowflake Penguin Party Playdate

We had a snowy snowflake penguin party playdate! (Say that ten times fast.)

I had seen a little preschool project where kids made snowflakes from folded coffee filters and I wanted to do that with Eva. I decided it would be more fun with a little theming and some easy snacks and...well...it was awesome!

Our Disney Princess "Slumber Party" for Preschoolers

Eva had her first pajama party last week and it was the kind of night that makes you wish you could freeze kids and keep them just at this age. We had three friends over and they ate and played and dressed up like princesses and thought everything was magical. A perfect evening.

Glitter Balloons and Confetti Balloons Made Easy

Clear balloons win in my book because they're so versatile. They go with any color scheme, work for all ages, and in a pinch you can even pop money and small toys into them to create a fun gift. Most of the time, though, we fill them up with glitter and confetti.
